2011, Mobile Broadband Subscribers Translucent 1 Billion

Sofia - Swedish telecommunications giant, Ericsson, estimates, could the world of mobile broadband subscribers exceeded one billion at the end of 2011.
The number of mobile broadband subscribers registered a significant increase over2010. As reported by Cellular News, on Tuesday (11/01/2011), currently estimatedthere are more than 500 mobile broadband subscribers worldwide.
Ericsson also predicts, that number will grow to double before 2011 ends. Largest number of subscribers, approximately 400 million, allegedly will be centralized in the Asia Pacific region. Followed by North America and Western Europe, where eachlikely to reach 200 million subscribers.
World of mobile data traffic continues to increase rapidly. Last August, Ericssonannounced, the amount of traffic tripled within a year.
Use of the Internet and other media by all users are now experiencing a change,following the emergence of an increasingly fast Internet network, and varioussupporting devices, including smartphones.
Based on a survey of users LTE TeliaSonera them, approximately 23 percentadmitted more often watch TV online. Meanwhile, 46 percent more likely to accessthe Internet when you're not at home.
In 2015, Ericsson believes mobile broadband subscribers could reach 3.8 billion, of which 95 percent use HSPA network, CDMA and LTE.
