User Blog Down 4%, Social Networking Up 20%

SAN FRANCISCO - The company social media consultant, Trendstream reported a significant change in the participation in the virtual world. 

In a study titled Global Web Index, as quoted by Mashable, Thursday (1/13/2011), found that the social web is no longer the place to create personal content but a place to share content in real-time professional. 

This report results from a survey involving 51 000 Internet users around the world during July 2009 to September 2010.
