2011, End of PC Era

WASHINGTON - Following the invasion of tablets and smartphones, the era of the use of a PC (personal computer) is believed will end this year. It disclosed a FoxNews journalist, John R. Quain.

In his article entitled 'PC is dead', claims Quain, the era of desktop computer usage isreally going to end in 2011. 'War' exhibition tablet on the Consumer Electronics Show(CES) in Las Vegas last week, a clear indication that the PC is no longer needed.

"In the midst of the madness of people against the iPhone, connected TV, high speed internet, desktop computers obviously no longer relevant,"he wrote, as quoted by PCRetail Quain, Wednesday (01/12/2011).

As can be seen at CES 2011, only a few companies that still produce a PCcomputer. Quain asserted, the majority of companies are now more focused to produce smartphones and tablets.
Quain added, only the user who needs to run a complex formula in a spread-sheet,calculate the number, create a database program, create an animated movie or write a long article that still requires a PC or notebook.
"But, for others, and to perform other functions, the era of the computer is switched (to the next trend),"said Quain.
