Local Software Company Will Grow 12%

JAKARTA - Local companies engaged in software is not spelled out too much.According to records Indonesian Telematics Software Association (ASPILUKI) currently there are approximately 250 companies engaged to develop software.
"From our data there were 250 companies in the field of software development inIndonesia. But that is not listed as an individual developer or company that does not count as a startup company that much more," said Chairman ASPILUKI DjarotSubiantoro, on the sidelines of the opening iMULAI 3.0, at the Hotel Mulia, Tuesday(25/01/2011).
Added by him during the year 2010 yesterday there was a big application that was developed by local developers. Unfortunately though Djarot not have detailed data,this spike is caused by applications for mobile devices.
In Indonesia alone, the composition of sales of hardware and software availability, including large. He mentioned the hardware sales reached 80 percent, while thesoftware is only 20 percent.
"This means, the use of computers in Indonesia only as a substitute for the typewriteronly. Compared with European countries whose composition is 60 per cent(hardware) with 40 percent (software)," he said.
"In 2011, it is possible that growth of 11 to 12 percent for IT startup company in the country. This includes flat compared with last year's growth," he said.
