Prepare 340 Undecillion IPv6 IP Address

SAN FRANCISCO - New Internet Protocol, IPv6, will set up 340 undecillion your Internet Protocol (IP) new. That is, there are 340 trillion, trillion, trillion of new IPaddresses that can be used.

Thirty years after the first Internet address is created, the stock four billion IPaddresses was finally completely discharged, Thursday. At a special ceremony inMiami, United States (U.S.), the organization that handles the allocation of global IPaddresses to distribute the last batch of IPv4 addresses.

The abundance of various gadgets with Internet connections and the popularity ofsites like Facebook and Twitter resulted in Internet addresses exhausted supplies.

Fortunately, the actors have set up technology solutions. Namely, replace IPv4 internetprotocol, introduced in 1981 and then, with IPv6 that would provide approximately 340trillion, trillion, trillion (undecillion) new address.

"If the capacity of IPv4 is described as a golf ball, then the comparative size for IPv6is like the sun," said executive chairman of the American Registry for InternetNumbers, John Curran, as quoted by the Straits Times on Thursday (04/02/2011).
