Analysts doubt Victory Over Android Symbian

Espoo - A new report from Canalys says that in the fourth quarter of 2010 yesterday, the Android success in the market to overtake Symbian operating system platform. But there are analysts who doubted the data. Tomi Ahonen is of dubious validity of the data released Canalys. Ahonen did not question the amount of sales of Nokia Symbian phones called by Canalys as many as 31 million units, but he doubted it mentioned Android sales research firm. Based on the number of daily activation industrious people reported by Google, Ahonen claims that Canalys estimates are too far away. The reason is because some time ago Andy Rubin from Google stating that the activation of which reached 300,000 units per day in December is quite impossible to reach 33.3 million rate of sales data issued by Canalys. According to Android activation must be at 600,000 a day, to reach that amount. Quoted Phone Arena on Wednesday (02/02/2011), Ahonen unfortunately did not mention anything about the fact that Canalys says that data including CSOs and Tapas platform (Android-based platform manufactured in China). Activation and the fact that Google does not include smartphones only but other devices such as tablets.Previously reported, in the last quarter of 2010, Google's Android has taken over as Nokia's Symbian has a long lead the smartphone operating system market in the world. These data revealed by the research firm Canalys. According to research firm that in the fourth quarter 2010 smartphone vendors have come together and poured approximately 32.9 million units of Android phones. This figure, according to Canalys, adrift just not too much if compared to total sales of Symbian phones made by Nokia which reaches 31 million units. Thus in the fourth quarter of this Symbian smartphone market has begun to decline.
