Nokia Defend Patent Touch Screen Scrolling

CALIFORNIA - The dispute between Nokia and Apple's patent re-heated. This time,Apple accused, Nokia patent for scrolling function on the touch screen handset (touch screen) is not valid.
Since 2009, Nokia and Apple engaged in a long battle around their product patents.Finnish vendor alleges Apple has violated various patents owned by Nokia. At least,there are 37 patents a company that has used Apple, according to Nokia claims.
Last September, Nokia has filed a lawsuit against Apple over their seven patents.Including technology scrolling on the touch screen handset. However, some time ago, the California technology giant was behind the demands and claims the technologydoes not belong to Nokia.
Nevertheless, the stronghold Nokia did not flinch. Nokia is committed to maintain its position to protect the patents of their products.
"Nokia is confident that the 37th patent in question is valid,"said Nokia spokesmanMark Durrant, as quoted by Cellular News, on Saturday (01/22/2011).
"We are examining these demands and is ready to take whatever action is necessaryto protect our patents," he continued.
The dispute between Nokia and Apple started when Nokia filed a lawsuit to the courtthe United States, October 2009. Nokia accuse Apple has used their technologysince 2007, where several patents used in the creation of the iPhone.
