SAN FRANCISCO - October, Microsoft has launched Windows Live Essentials 2011,including the features of Messenger on Facebook. Until now prominence continues torise.
Cooperation Microsoft and Facebook this to fruition, at least for the prestige of the Windows Live Messenger (WLM). Even WLM has become the second most popularapplication on Facebook, after Farmville. One month since its launch, WLM hascontributed approximately 1.5 billion minutes of conversation on Facebook.
Launched by Neo Win, on Friday (04/02/2011), Windows Live Team reported that thenumber of users who connect your messenger messenger to Facebook has grown toapproximately 75 percent to around 18 million users until today.
The addition is of course quite significant for Microsoft. Total contributions minutesgiven WLM also increased two-fold to approximately 2.8 billion minutes up chat. Butnot only up, some other social networking sites also contribute to the prestige ofWLM.
"The number of customer relationships Messenger on LinkedIn grew two-fold.MySpace and YouTube also makes WLM as favorite service among 75 other advanced services capable of connecting consumers with Windows Live," saidGroup Program Manager WLM and Microsoft Mail, Piero Sierra.
