Q4 2010, Nokia Net Profit Down 21%

HELSINKI - Nokia reported revenue in the last quarter only increased 6 percent to approximately USD17, 4 billion compared to the same quarter last year. The increase was triggered by flutuasi currency. Beyond the problem of currency changes, sales of Nokia predicted fairly flat year-on-year. As for total sales of Nokia mobile phone unit fell 3 percent to 123.7 million units this quarter. Launched by Cellular News, on Friday (28/01/2011), Nokia operating profit decreased approximately 26 percent to $ 1, 5 billion. While last year the Nokia operating profit reached USD42 billion. For net profit, Nokia have dropped approximately 21 percent to USD1, 02 billion compared to the same quarter last year. Based on the results of the achievement of Nokia, throughout 2010 the mobile device industry is only up 13 percent compared to 2009. Meanwhile, Nokia market share that year dropped to only 32 percent. Whereas the previous year had reached 34 percent."In the fourth quarter we have produced a pretty solid performance in three of our business, and cash flow are quite encouraging.
