RIM Distinguish Professional and Individuals in Blackberry

OTTAWA - In order to maintain dominance in the smart phone market, Research in Motion (RIM) plans to separate the data and private messages (individual) with a message or other applications related to work (professional) on the BlackBerry. As reported by PC Pro, on Tuesday (25/01/2011), RIM plans to introduce software that allows the user seems to have two phones in one unit of the BlackBerry. This step appears to be RIM's answer to competitors like the iPhone (Apple) and Android handsets are increasingly being used. Although the iPhone and Android phones managed to attract attention, the device is not equipped with security features into the benefits of BlackBerry. The solution offered is a free RIM BlackBerry Balance. This software allows corporate IT departments handle data, such as email job sent through a BlackBerry server. On the other hand also ensures that BlackBerry Balance browser functions and services of social networking sites and personal data of users, such as photos, separately. "Work and personal are the two main functions of smartphone users. The problem is, both functions collide," said senior vice president for business and marketing platform, Jeff McDowell. "We want to create innovative solutions that enable companies to handle data associated with the job. But at the same time, users are also free to browse the Internet or access social networking sites," said McDowell again. McDowell reveals, Balance software is currently undergoing trials. Allegedly, Balance will be introduced in the United States, the next two months. In addition, Balance also plans to widen markets and platforms, including tablet computers iPad. Balance is expected to start the U.S. market in the next two months.
