Jakarta - Research in Motion (RIM) BlackBerry was asked to build a server inIndonesia because it was his duty as a paid Internet service providers in the country.That's what distinguishes a free service like Yahoo, Google, and Facebook.
"BlackBerry is different from Yahoo Messenger, Facebook, Skype, and othersbecause they do not subscribe system in Indonesia,"said Nonot Harsono, Member ofthe Indonesian Telecommunications Regulatory Agency, to ITGazine on Wednesday(12/01/2011).
Nonot opinion contrary to that ever delivered Widodo Onno Purbo technologyactivists. Onno feel weird if RIM is required to deploy a server in Indonesia.
"Most users use Yahoo or Gmail. Strange that RIM should move the server here. Whydoes not Yahoo, Gmail told to move all," said winning a doctorate from the Canadian.
Differences of opinion regarding the server problems I have found no clear common ground. However, regulators argue, the demand for RIM based on the rules and lawsapplicable in Indonesia.
